One of the most difficult stains to remove is perspiration. This is particularly problematic when it comes to Armani clothing, as its unique fabrics and delicate construction require special treatment. Thankfully, by following these steps and techniques outlined below, you can easily rid your garments of those pesky perspiration stains.
Before you attempt to treat any stain, it is important to soak the fabric in order to loosen the stain. To do this, add a few drops of a mild detergent or soap into a basin of warm water, and then submerge the stained area for approximately fifteen minutes.
Once the stained area has been soaked, it is time to treat stain. For delicate fabrics such as those used in Armani clothing, one of the best solutions is a pre-treater such as Febreze or OxiClean to help break down the grease and oils that have built up in the fibers of the garment. To use, simply apply liberally over the stained area and leave for 10 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
Once the pre-treater has been allowed to work its magic, it is time to wash the garment. To ensure your Armani garment is properly cared for, use the gentlest cycle available and always make sure to use cold water. If you are worried about over-washing the fabric, try opting for a hand-wash, which will also be gentler than the machine.
Again, to avoid any further damage to the precious fabric, air drying is always the best option. Hang the garment up and allow it to air dry naturally. Due to the delicate nature of the fabric, avoid using a tumble dryer as this can cause further damage.
By following these simple steps, you should find that you can easily and effectively get rid of those perspiration stains on your Armani garment.
