For vinyl windows, you can use a few different household solutions. Try combining equal parts water and white vinegar and dip a cloth in the solution, then rub the cloth on the stain. Another option is applying a paste made from baking soda and water. Rub this paste into the stain with a damp cloth and let it sit for 30 minutes before wiping away.
For metal windows, you can use a steel wool pad dipped in rubbing alcohol to scrub away pencil stains. Make sure to use a light pressure when scrubbing to avoid damaging the metal window.
For glass windows, use a solution made from equal parts vinegar and water. Dip a cloth in solution, squeeze out any excess liquid, and rub it into the stain. If the stain is still present, you can use a glass-cleaning product and rub it into the mark until it disappears.
