If you’re looking for a way to clean pencil stains from your wallet, start by examining the stain. If it’s a light or dry mark, you can use a soft cloth dampened with a mild, soapy solution like dishwashing liquid and water. Rub gently on the stained area with the cloth in a circular motion until the stain is removed.
For more stubborn pencil marks, a gentle scrubbing with toothpaste will do the trick. Make sure to use a mild toothpaste, such as an all-natural one. Apply a small amount of toothpaste on stained area, then use a soft cloth to rub in a circular motion. Once the stain has been removed, rinse the wallet off with warm water to get rid of any remaining toothpaste residue.
If the pencil stain on your wallet is really tough, you can try using rubbing alcohol. Dab a cotton ball with a small amount of rubbing alcohol, then gently rub it on the stained area until the mark is gone. Rinse the wallet with clean water after the stain is lifted.
Finally, if you’re dealing with an especially stubborn stain, try using a commercial leather cleaner. These cleaners are designed specifically for use on leather surfaces, so they won’t harm the material of your wallet. Follow the directions on the label, and your wallet should be stain-free in no time!
