You will need a few basic supplies in order to clean pencil stains from your tux. You'll need:
Using white cloth, carefully blot the area with the pencil stain. Be sure not to rub or scrub too harshly as this may create additional damage. It is important to use a white cloth, as one that is not will risk transferring the color from the cloth onto your tuxedo.
In a bowl, mix equal parts cold water and rubbing alcohol. Stir together to create a solution.
Using a clean white cloth, dip it into the water and alcohol solution, then dab it onto the stained area. Repeat this motion until the stain fades. Once again, be sure to not scrub too harshly.
Place the thick towel over the damp area and press lightly. This will help to absorb moisture. You may also want to use a hairdryer on a low setting to dry the area.
With these simple steps you can easily remove pencil marks from your tuxedo. Remember to be gentle and not scrub too harshly in order to avoid any additional damage. Always use a white cloth when cleaning and make sure the area is completely dry before wearing your tuxedo.
