- Once the area has been soaped up, use a clean moist cloth to rinse away any soap residue.
- For tougher stains, a mild abrasive like baking powder may help remove the pencil marks. Simply sprinkle the baking powder on stained area, then using a soft scrub brush or cloth, gently rub in a circular motion.
- Rinse away any residue and let shirt air dry.
Removing Pencil Marks from T-Shirts Using Non-Traditional Methods
- Rubbing alcohol is also a great way to remove pencil marks from fabric. Using a cloth, dampen the area with rubbing alcohol then gently rub it in a circular motion.
- For extra foaming action, try mixing some beer and laundry detergent together in a small bowl. Soak a cloth in the mixture and gently rub it over the pencil marks.
- If all else fails, a few drops of white vinegar on the stained area will do the trick. Using a clean cloth, apply vinegar directly onto the stained area and gently rub until the mark disappears.
- Rinse the area with cold water or wipe with a damp cloth.
