Before getting started, it is important that you have the right supplies at hand. This includes a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, a mild liquid detergent, an old toothbrush, and white vinegar.
Take the mild liquid detergent and apply it to the affected area. If stain is especially stubborn, use an old toothbrush to gently scrub the area. Once done, rinse the area with warm water.
If the stain still persists, try using white vinegar. Start by diluting the vinegar with water so that it is no more than one part vinegar to three parts water. Then, apply the mixture to the stained area and let it sit for 10 minutes. Finally, take a non-abrasive cloth or sponge and gently scrub the area to remove the stain. Rinse the area once done.
Using these simple steps, you can easily remove pencil marks from your child's toys. Just make sure to use only a mild detergent and to never use any harsh chemicals as this could harm sensitive materials.
