1. Gently Rub With Soap

The first step in removing pencil marks from your Tommy Hilfiger garment is to gently rub affected area with a mild liquid soap. Be sure to use a soft cloth and gentle pressure so you don't cause any further damage. Once you've worked the soap into the material, rinse away the excess and allow the clothing to air dry completely before the next step.

2. Use Ice Cubes

If the pencil mark is still visible after rinsing and drying, the next step is to apply ice cubes to stained area to harden lead. Leave the cubes on clothing for a few minutes, then scrape off the hardened lead using a dull knife or spoon. Again, make sure to use gentle pressure to avoid damaging fabric.

3. Dab With White Vinegar

Once you've removed as much lead as possible, dab the area with white vinegar to further remove any remaining pencil stains. Allow vinegar to sit on the fabric for 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water and dry the garment with a clean towel.

4. Scrub With Baking Soda Paste

For stubborn pencil stains, mix baking soda with a small amount of water to create a paste. Apply the paste to the stained area and scrub gently with a soft toothbrush. Rinse paste away and follow up with the vinegar treatment mentioned above before allowing the garment to air dry.

5. Use a Bleach Solution

Finally, if the stain is still persistent, mix one tablespoon of bleach with one cup of water and sponge the area with the solution. Allow the bleach to sit on the fabric for five to ten minutes, then rinse and air dry. Be sure to check the care label on your garment to ensure that it is safe to use bleach on the fabric.

If all else fails, consider taking your garment to a professional cleaner for help removing pencil marks. Professional cleaners have knowledge and expertise to safely and effectively remove pencil stains without damaging the fabric.
