To begin cleaning your sleepwear, you need to gather the supplies necessary for job. Here’s how to make sure you have everything you need:
Once you've got all your supplies ready, it's time to prepare the stained area. Start by laying out your paper towels or towel on a flat surface and place the stained area of the sleepwear onto the towel. Use the damp cloth or sponge to lightly wet area of fabric that has the pencil stain.
Next, apply a dab of laundry detergent onto the stained area. Be sure to use a gentle laundry detergent so as not to damage the fabric. Then, place a small amount of white vinegar and baking soda onto the stained area, and rub gently until the mixture forms a paste.
Once paste has had time to sit, it's time to give it a bit of scrubbing. Use the damp sponge or cloth to gently rub the paste into the fabric. Then, let it sit for 15-20 minutes so the paste can work its magic.
Once paste has had its time to soak, rinse away the excess with warm water. Once the sleepwear is free of soap residue and the stain is gone, hang it to dry.
With these five easy steps, you can easily remove pencil stains from your sleepwear in no time at all. So go ahead and give it a try today!
