Start by using a soft brush to gently remove the pieces of graphite stuck to the fabric. Take your time when brushing, so you don't cause damage to the material. If it doesn't come out at first, try rubbing it with a bit of pressure. Repeat this process until all of the marks are gone.
Create a solution of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio). Apply it directly to the pencil stains and let it sit for a few minutes. Once the stain has been soaked, use an old cloth or tissue to dab the area. This should help to remove the pencil marks.
Moisten a cotton swab with some rubbing alcohol and use it to apply to the stain. Be sure to rub it in gently as rubbing too hard may cause the material to degrade and lose its effectiveness. Repeat this process until the pencil marks have been removed.
If the above methods do not work, you can try using WD-40 aerosol spray. Spray a bit onto fabric and let it sit for a few minutes before blotting it off with a damp cloth. Always test WD-40 on a small inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not damage the fabric.
