Now that you have everything you need, let's get started!
The first method of cleaning pencil marks from your parka is by using a combination of soap, water, and a clean white cloth. Begin by mixing a few drops of liquid detergent or mild liquid soap in a bowl with some warm water. Dip cloth into the mixture and wring out excess water. Gently rub the cloth in circular motions over the pencil stains. If needed, add a few more drops of detergent or soap to the cloth and continue scrubbing.
The second method of removing pencil stains from a parka uses white vinegar and baking soda. Begin by mixing equal parts white vinegar and baking soda in a bowl. Use a spoon to stir until it forms a paste. Apply the paste directly onto the pencil stain and allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes. Using a damp cloth, gently rub the area in circular motions until the stain comes off.
Depending on the severity of the pencil mark, you may need to repeat one of the above methods several times to completely remove the stain. As with any cleaning product, make sure to test the method in an inconspicuous area of the parka before applying to the stain.
Now you know how to clean pencil stains from your parka and keep it looking as good as new!
