Instructions

  1. Test an inconspicuous area of your swimsuit before beginning to make sure it won’t cause any adverse reactions.
  2. Mix together some dish soap, white vinegar and warm water in a small bowl.
  3. Dip a soft scrub brush into the mixture and use it to scrub the stained area.
  4. If the stains are still visible, sprinkle baking soda onto the affected area.
  5. Dampen a cloth with some cold water and use it to rub the baking soda into the stain.
  6. Rinse the swimsuit with cold water to remove the baking soda and remaining detergent.
  7. Put your swimsuit in the sun to dry. This will help to naturally bleach out any remaining stains.

Additional Tips & Warnings

  • You can also use a commercial stain remover specifically designed for removing pencil stains.
  • Be sure to follow instructions on product label carefully.
