Gently wipe away any residual wax or lead left behind on the surface of your loafers with a soft cloth or sponge. Be gentle and take care not to damage leather.
Mix together 1 cup of warm water with 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. Dip a clean cloth into the mixture and use it to gently dab away at the stain. This will help break down stain and make it easier to remove.
Create a paste using baking soda and water. Using a clean toothbrush, scrub away at remaining stain with the baking soda paste. Apply light pressure and make sure to cover entire area.
Allow the loafers to air dry before applying a light layer of leather conditioner with a clean cloth. This will help bring back the shine and add protection against future stains.
Removing pencil stains from leather loafers is surprisingly easy! With just a few simple steps, you can get your shoes looking new again in no time.
