Materials You'll Need
- Rubbing alcohol or hairspray
- Vinegar
- Old toothbrush
- White paper towel or cloth
Instructions
- First, use a white paper towel or cloth to dab away the excess residue from the eraser marks.
- Next, choose one of the cleaning agents you will use: rubbing alcohol or hairspray. Spray the pencil eraser marks with your chosen cleaner and let it sit for a couple minutes.
- Scrub the stained area gently with an old toothbrush, not too hard as you don't want to damage the canvas.
- Use the damp cloth to wipe away the remaining cleaner and any dirt and debris that came off the espadrilles.
- If the stain is still there, mix one part vinegar with two parts water. Dip the toothbrush in the solution and scrub the area again.
- Finally, pat the area dry with a white paper towel or cloth.
