The simplest way to remove pencil stains from your earplugs is by using rubbing alcohol. Simply dab a few drops of the alcohol onto a cotton swab and then gently rub it over stained area until the stain is gone. If the stain persists, you may need to repeat this process a few times. Once the stain is gone, rinse the earplugs with warm water and allow them to air dry.
If rubbing alcohol doesn’t do trick, then you can try using hydrogen peroxide instead. Much like rubbing alcohol, simply dab a few drops of hydrogen peroxide onto a cotton swab and gently rub it over stained area until stain disappears. Again, if the stain still persists, you may need to repeat this process until it’s gone. Afterward, rinse earplugs with warm water and allow them to air dry.
This method may sound strange, but dental floss actually works wonders at removing pencil stains from your earplugs. Take a small piece of dental floss and wrap it around your finger. Dip it into a bit of warm water and then gently rub it over the stained area in circular motions until the stain disappears. When you're finished, rinse the earplugs with warm water and allow them to air dry.
Pencil stains can be easily removed from your earplugs with a few simple cleaning methods. Whether you use rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or dental floss, all of these methods should do the trick at getting rid of pencil stains and restoring your earplugs back to their original condition.
