What You Need

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Soft cloth
  • Dishwashing detergent
  • Food-grade mineral oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix two parts white vinegar and one part baking soda in a bowl. Make sure paste is of uniform consistency.
  2. Take a soft cloth and dip it in the paste. Gently rub it over the stain on your cutting board until the stain fades away.
  3. Rinse the board with lukewarm water.
  4. Clean board with a mild dishwashing detergent.
  5. Once dry, rub food-grade mineral oil on the board if desired to keep it looking glossy and new.
