Steps for Removing Pencil Stains from Cotton Canvas

  1. Put the stained area of the cotton canvas into a bowl or sink filled with warm, soapy water.
  2. Gently scrub the area with a soft cloth, working in a circular motion. Be sure not to rub too hard or you could damage fabric.
  3. Rinse the area with clean, warm water.
  4. If the stain persists, apply a few drops of rubbing alcohol onto a clean, soft cloth and gently rub it into the stained area.
  5. Rinse off the rubbing alcohol with warm, clean water.
  6. Allow the cotton canvas to air dry.
