Start by blotting up any excess ink with a soft cloth. Next, dampen cleaning cloth with dry cleaning solvent and dab it gently into the stain until it is gone. Make sure to avoid scrubbing or rubbing the fabric too harshly, as this can damage the cargo pants.
Once the stain is gone, rinse the fabric with cold water to remove the dry cleaning solvent. This will also help make sure that the stain is truly gone and that no residue is left behind.
After rinsing the fabric, wash the cargo pants as normal according to care label instructions. If the stain is still present after washing, repeat steps 1-3 again until stain is completely gone.
With just a few simple steps, you can easily remove pencil stains from your cargo pants. Remember to always follow the care label instructions for best results, and never rub or scrub fabric too harshly as this can cause discolouration.
