How to Remove Stubborn Pencil Stains from Clothing in a Snap

Instructions
- Gently scrape off as much of the pencil marks as possible using a butter knife or the edge of a spoon.
- Mix 1 teaspoon liquid detergent with 1 cup warm water.
- Dab the stain using the detergent solution and allow it to sit for several minutes.
- Using a clean cloth, blot the stain until it absorbs the liquid.
- Rinse the area with cold water.
- Repeat Steps 2-5 as necessary until all of stain is gone.
Tips & Tricks
- When applying the detergent mixture, work from the outside inwards to avoid spreading the stain.
- If stain still remains, mix 1 tablespoon ammonia with ½ cup warm water and apply the solution to the stain. Allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes before blotting.
- For best results, always test a small, hidden area of fabric before using any cleaning solution.
