If you find yourself having to deal with pencil marks on your favorite swimsuit, don't worry! It's surprisingly easy to remove pencil stains from fabric, as long as you know what to do. All you need is an eraser and a few minutes of your time.
Remove the pencil marks from your bikini with a pencil eraser. Try to rub gently and keep in mind that it may take several passes to completely remove the stain. Don't put too much pressure on fabric and be sure to check the eraser frequently for signs of wear.
If the pencil marks are stubborn and won't come off easily, try using a kneaded eraser or a white gum eraser instead. These type of erasers can remove almost anything, including stubborn pencil marks.
Once the pencil marks have been removed, it's important to wash the bikini in order to prevent any residual pencil lead from discoloring the fabric. First, use a mild detergent and lukewarm water to agitate the fabric. Then, rinse the fabric in cold water to remove any detergent residue.
Finally, hang bikini to dry. Avoid putting the swimsuit in the dryer because heat can set any remaining pencil lead into fabric. Instead, simply hang it up and allow it to air dry naturally. Once the fabric is dry, you'll be able to enjoy your clean, stain-free swimsuit.
