Here are 4 simple steps for removing pencil marks from baking dishes.
Use a thin plastic scraper or putty knife to scrape off any excess graphite marks. Be sure to use a light touch — you don’t want to scratch the surface of your baking dish.
Fill baking dish with hot water and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. This will help to loosen up the pencil marks.
Mix a small amount of mild detergent with warm water and use a soft cloth or brush to scrub away the pencil stains. If stain is still there, you can try adding some white vinegar to the mixture.
Once pencil marks are gone, rinse the baking dish with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
Following these steps should have your baking dishes looking like new in no time.
