Getting pencil stains out of an anorak is a manageable task with a few steps. Here's what you'll need:
The first step is to dampen stain with water and then dab it with paper towels or a soft cloth to remove any excess graphite. This will help prevent the stain from spreading further.
Then, mix a tablespoon of laundry detergent and two tablespoons of white vinegar with a cup of warm water. Dip the soft cloth in mixture and lightly dab the stain. Make sure not to rub too hard, as this could cause the fabric to tear. After stain has been soaked in the mixture, rinse it off with cold water and repeat the process until stain is gone.
Once you've gotten rid of the stain, let the anorak dry naturally. Do not put it in the dryer as this may cause the stain to set even further. Once the anorak is dry, you'll want to treat it with a waterproofing spray like spray-on fabric protector, so it stays looking as good as new.
With these simple steps, you'll be able to effectively get rid of stubborn pencil stains from anorak jackets. So don't worry about the mess; take the time to remove the stain and you'll be able to enjoy your anorak for years to come.
