Nothing ruins the look of your favorite alpaca garment more than pesky pencil stains. Whether it was a quick scribble or a larger stain, the pigment can be hard to remove without specialized treatment - and it can get expensive if you don't know how to do it yourself.

But fear not. Here's what you can do:

  • Use soda water - pour some soda water onto stain and let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing with cold water. The carbonation helps dissolve the stain.
  • Rubbing alcohol - dab some rubbing alcohol on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Optionally, you can add a bit of dish soap while rubbing in a circular motion. Rinse with cold water.
  • White vinegar - blot the stain with white vinegar and rinse with cold water. Repeat as needed until stain disappears.
  • Lemon juice - dilute some lemon juice with water and apply to the stain. Rinse with cold water afterwards.
  • Baking soda paste - make a paste out of baking soda and water and apply to the stain. Let it sit for an hour and then rinse with cold water.

These easy-to-follow solutions should help you remove pencil stains from alpaca fabric without much hassle. As always, feel free to experiment with different combinations to see which one works best. Good luck!
