If the accessory is small enough, such as jewelry or a belt buckle, dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and rub it onto the pencil stain gently. For larger items, such as wallets or sweaters, you can use cotton balls and dampen them in rubbing alcohol. Allow rubbing alcohol to sit on item for 5 minutes, then use a damp cloth to wipe away any remaining residue.
Mix one part water and one part white vinegar in a bowl. Dip a soft-bristled toothbrush in the solution and lightly scrub the pencil stain. Rinse item with cold water, and repeat if necessary. Once the stain is gone, you may need to rinse the item a few times more to make sure all of the vinegar is removed.
Sprinkle baking soda on the pencil stain and let it sit for 10 minutes. Using a damp cloth, lightly rub the baking soda in a circular motion until the stain is gone. Rinse the item with cold water, and repeat if necessary.
Apply a small amount of dish soap to the pencil stain and let it sit for five minutes. Wet a soft sponge and gently rub pencil stain in a circular motion. Rinse item with cold water, and repeat if necessary.
