The good news is that erasers are usually very effective in removing pencil marks from paper, wood and other surfaces. Gently rub the eraser over the area to erase away pencil marks. For thicker marks, try pressing slightly harder while still being careful not to score or damage the surface.
Another great way to get rid of pencil marks is to use wiping alcohol. You can apply it directly onto the area with a cotton ball or cloth and then let it sit for a few minutes before wiping off the marks.
Magic erasers are amazing for cleaning almost any kind of stain, including pencil marks. Be sure to test it out on an inconspicuous part of the material first, as it may be too harsh for some fabrics. Once the spot is tested and you're sure it won't damage the fabric, simply wet the eraser and gently rub the area with it - the pencil marks should disappear in no time!
Using soap and water is a tried-and-true method for removing pencil stains. Simply dip a cloth into warm, soapy water and apply it to the stain. Let it sit for a few minutes before gently rubbing it away. Depending on the severity of stain, this may take a few attempts - but it will eventually come off.
Removing pencil stains can be a daunting task, but hopefully these tips have made it a little easier. Whether you try one of the above methods or a combination of them, you'll be happy to see those pencil marks go away!
