If the paint stain is still wet, the best method to get rid of it is to use a damp cloth right away. Make sure the fabric is completely dry before you wear it again and air dry the garment in a well-ventilated area.
If the paint stain is dry, start by gently scraping off as much paint as you can with a dull knife or other flat-edged object. When no more paint can be scraped off, dampen the affected area with water. Then, rub a little dishwashing liquid into the stain and leave it to soak for at least five minutes. Finally, rinse off the dishwashing liquid and dab the stain with a towel to absorb the moisture.
If the paint stain is particularly stubborn, try using a combination of rubbing alcohol and water. Start by lightly dampening the stained area with water. Then, add a few drops of rubbing alcohol and wipe it gently with a lint-free cloth. When the stain starts to fade, rinse off rubbing alcohol with cold water and dab the fabric with a towel to absorb extra moisture.
