If you’ve recently worn a traditional dress that has paint stains on it, fear not! You can use different methods and tools to eradicate the stains and restore your clothing. Here are a few tips on how to clean paint stains from traditional dresses:

  • Act quickly and gently. Before tackling any paint stain, be sure to act quickly. The sooner you can treat the stain, the better your chances of removing it is. Additionally, to avoid damaging fabric, make sure to use gentle, light motions as you scrub or blot the area.
  • Soak in warm soapy water. Begin by soaking the stained area of the dress in warm soapy water and let it sit for at least an hour. If the stain is particularly stubborn, you may have to repeat this step multiple times.
  • Scrub with gentle detergent. Once dress has had some time to soak in warm soapy water, grab a soft brush and dip it into a mixture of detergent and warm water. Gently scrub the area in circular motions until most of the stain has been removed.
  • Rinse with cold water. After scrubbing the area, rinse it with cold water to remove any remaining residue. This will help ensure that the entire stain has been removed.
  • Wash in the machine with mild soap. To finish off, machine wash the dress in cold water with a mild detergent or soap. Dry the dress in the air or in the dryer according to the instructions on the tag.

By following the steps above, you’ll be able to remove paint stains from traditional dresses easily!
