Step 1: Scrape Off Excess Paint

Take a butter knife or a pair of scissors and scrape away any excess paint. The point is to get rid of as much of paint as you can while avoiding any further damage to the shoe.

Step 2: Blot Out the Stain

Lay down some paper towels or a rag beneath stain and start blotting it with a clean cloth dipped in a water and detergent mixture. Dip the cloth in the solution, squeeze it out, and start dabbing stain from the outside inwards. Make sure you don’t rub, as that could spread the stain even further.

Step 3: Apply Spot Remover

If the stain still persists, apply a spot remover on the affected area. This will help break down the stain and make it easier to remove. Just follow the instructions provided on the product label and be sure to keep it out of sight of children.

Step 4: Rinse and Dry

Once whole stain is gone, rinse the area with cold water and dry completely. You may want to use the hairdryer to speed up the process. And finally, your shoes are ready to go!
