Step-by-Step Guide
- Before taking any other steps, check the label on your scrubs for instructions regarding washing.
- Mix a few drops of liquid detergent in warm water.
- Using a sponge, gently scrub the paint stain with the soapy water.
- Rinse the area with cold water.
- Mix one part white vinegar with four parts water and soak the stained area for five minutes. This will help lift the paint coat.
- Scrub the area again.
- Once the stain has been removed, blot out excess liquid with paper towels.
- Rinse the area with cold water and let it air dry.
Additional Tips
- If regular detergent does not do the trick, you can try a washing powder specifically formulated for removing paint stains.
- For particularly stubborn paint stains, leave vinegar and water mixture on the stained area overnight. Then scrub with a sponge and rinse with cold water.
