The first step in removing paint stains from sandals is to scrape off any loose paint from surface. This will help to make the cleaning process easier. Grab a wooden chopstick or a plastic putty knife and gently run it along the surface of the paint stain. Be careful not to scratch sandals.
The next step is to mix up a cleaning solution to help loosen the remaining paint from the sandal surface. To do this, mix equal parts vinegar and warm water in a bowl. You can also add a few drops of dish soap for extra cleaning power. Soak a cloth in the solution and apply it to stained area. Allow it to soak for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.
Once the cleaning solution has had time to work, take an old toothbrush and lightly scrub the area. The bristles will help to loosen paint and brush it off. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps two and three until it's gone.
Finally, rinse the sandals off with clean, warm water. Once they're rinsed, let them air dry or pat them dry with a soft cloth. And that's it! Your sandals should now be free of paint stains.
