Spilled paint can be a nightmare to remove, especially from fabric that is much harder to clean than other materials. A rash guard is designed to be resistant to wear and tear, but when you mix paint in, it could get messy fast. Fortunately, good news is that removing paint stains from your rash guard is easier than you think.

Things You'll Need:

  • Borax
  • Dishwashing detergent
  • White cloth
  • Toothbrush

Steps to Remove Paint Stains:

  1. Start by blotting the paint stain with a dry white cloth immediately. Avoid wiping the stain since it might smudge and become worse.
  2. Mix a tablespoon of Borax in some warm water and dip the white cloth into it. Squeeze out any excess liquid and then dab at the stain.
  3. If the stain is still not completely gone, add a few drops of dishwashing detergent into the solution and start blotting again.
  4. In case there is still some paint residue left on the cloth, use a toothbrush to gently scrub off those tough spots.
  5. Once done, rinse the rash guard with cold water, and let it air-dry.

That's all it takes to make your rash guard look as good as new!
