Step One: Gather Supplies

Before you can start cleaning the paint stain, you'll need to gather a few items. You'll need some laundry detergent or liquid dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, a white cloth or brush (preferably soft), and a dry cloth.

Step Two: Remove Excess Paint

Use a soft brush or cloth and gently dab at the spot to remove as much of the excess paint as possible. Be careful not to rub, as this can cause the stain to further set into fabric.

Step Three: Create a Cleaning Solution

Mix together a small amount of laundry detergent or liquid dish soap with about 1 part hydrogen peroxide and stir to combine. This will create a gentle, yet effective cleaning solution, perfect for tackling paint stains.

Step Four: Apply the Solution

Dip the white cloth or brush into the solution and then blot the area with paint stain. Be sure to go slowly and avoid rubbing it in as this could cause the paint to spread.

Step Five: Rinse & Dry

Once paint stain has been removed, rinse the pullover with cold water and then pat it dry with a dry cloth. Hang it up or lay it flat to let it air dry before wearing it.
