What You'll Need:

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Soft white cloth
  • Cotton swab
  • Mild laundry detergent
  • Clean white towel

Instructions:

  1. Carefully blot the paint stain with a soft, white cloth.
  2. Drip rubbing alcohol onto a cotton swab and dab the paint stain.
  3. Continue to apply the rubbing alcohol until the paint begins to lift from the fabric.
  4. Rinse any remaining paint from the polyester fabric with cold water.
  5. Apply a small amount of mild laundry detergent to stained area.
  6. Gently rub the detergent into the fabric with a soft, white cloth.
  7. Rinse the detergent and any remaining paint from the polyester fabric with cold water.
  8. Blot the area with a clean white towel to absorb any moisture.

Tips:

  • It is important to use a soft, white cloth when cleaning paint from polyester fabric to avoid pulling or stretching the fabric.
  • Make sure to use cold water while rinsing paint, as hot water could set the stain.
  • Test rubbing alcohol on a hidden part of the fabric before applying it to the stained area.
