Paint stains on pillows can be an eyesore and often difficult to remove. But if you follow right steps, you can easily get rid of the stain without damaging your furniture or pillow. Here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Blot Excess Paint ASAP

As soon as you notice the paint, use a cloth or paper towel to blot away any excess. Avoid rubbing paint into the fabric; instead, use a soft, up-and-down blotting motion.

Step 2: Pretreat with Soap

Once you've blotted away the excess paint, prepare a solution of one part liquid soap and one part warm water. Use a sponge to apply the solution to the stained area and allow it to soak for 15 minutes. Once solution has had time to soak in, rinse the area with cold water.

Step 3: Wash in the Machine

Next, place pillow in the washing machine and select the gentle cycle. Use cold water and laundry detergent to wash the pillow. After the cycle is finished, remove the pillow and check for remaining paint stains. If necessary, repeat the entire process until the paint is gone.

With these three simple steps, you can quickly and easily get rid of paint stains on your pillow without damaging fabric or furniture.
