What You Need

  • Detergent or specialized stain remover
  • Toothbrush or soft scrub brush
  • Towel or rag

Step 1: Rinse

Start by rinsing the stained area with cold water. This will help pre-treat the stain and loosen it up before you do a deep clean.

Step 2: Apply Detergent

Use detergent or a specialized stain remover and apply it directly on the paint stain. Use a paper towel or rag to blot the area until clothing is damp.

Step 3: Scrub

Once the detergent is applied, use a toothbrush or soft scrub brush to work it into the stain. Gently rub the paint stain in circles until the stain starts to lift.

Step 4: Rinse Again

Once you’ve worked the detergent or stain remover into the fabric, rinse the area with cold water. Use a damp cloth to remove any remaining detergent and let the garment dry completely before wearing it.
