Supplies You'll Need
- A brush
- Stain remover or laundry detergent
- A few clean cloths
- A stain-resistant spray protectant
Step 1: Soak the Joggers
Fill a sink or bucket with lukewarm water and put in your joggers. Gently swirl the joggers around so that the water coats all of the stained areas. If you're using a laundry detergent or stain remover, add a scoop to the water. Let the joggers soak for at least an hour, or overnight if the stain is very stubborn.
Step 2: Scrub the Stained Areas
Once the joggers have soaked, it's time to scrub them. Using a stiff brush, gently scrub stained areas until the paint comes up. If the stain is still not coming out, you may need to use a stronger stain remover or cleaning solution.
Step 3: Rinse the Joggers
Once the stain is gone, rinse off the joggers with cold water. Make sure to remove any remaining detergent or cleaning solution.
Step 4: Treat the Joggers With a Stain-Resistant Protectant
To help prevent future paint stains, treat your joggers with a stain-resistant protectant. This will help repel future dirt and stains.
Step 5: Dry the Joggers
Finally, let your joggers air dry or use a low heat setting on a clothes dryer.
