When attempting to remove paint stains from a J Jill fabric, it's essential to use the right cleaning materials. Rubbing alcohol is the most effective cleaning solution and should be used liberally when blotting away the paint stain. For best results, make sure to use a clean, white cloth to avoid transferring other colors onto the fabric.
Once you have the right cleaning materials, begin blotting the stained area with a clean white cloth dipped lightly in rubbing alcohol. Work from the outside towards the center of the stain and do not rub the fabric as that can cause the paint to bleed further into fabric.
Once you've tried blotting the stain, rinse area with cool water. You may need to repeat this process several times until the stain is gone. If any traces remain, repeat steps two and three until the stain is completely removed.
Once you've eliminated paint stain, allow the area to air dry. If the fabric is machine washable, you may also opt to machine wash and dry item according to the care instructions.
