Using a butter knife or any other blunt object, carefully scrape away as much of the paint as you possibly can. Don't worry about damage - as long as you do it gently, you won't ruin the fabric.
Dip a small cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and dab as much of the stain as you can. Make sure to change the cotton ball if it gets dirty - using dirty cotton balls can make the stain worse.
Once you've removed as much paint as possible, it's time to give the fabric a good wash. Fill a bowl with warm soapy water and let the fabric soak for 30 minutes. After that, rinse the fabric with clean water and let it air dry.
Now, take a cotton swab and dip it in oil (e.g., olive or vegetable oil). Gently dab the stained area with the swab. Repeat this process a few times until the stain is gone.
With these four steps, you'll be able to get rid of paint stains from your Irish crochet in no time. Good luck!
