What You Will Need
- Dishwashing liquid
- Soft cloth or sponge
- Rubbing alcohol
- Baking soda
- Water
Steps To Follow
- Mix together one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and one teaspoon of rubbing alcohol in a cup of warm water.
- Dip a soft cloth or sponge into mixture and rub it onto the stained area of the hair clip to loosen the dried paint.
- Once the paint is loose, rinse off the hair clip with clean water.
- To remove any remaining paint, mix one teaspoon of baking soda with two teaspoons of water to create a paste.
- Apply the paste to affected area and leave it for 15 minutes.
- Remove paste and rinse off the hair clip with clean water.
Tips
- Always test the cleaning solution or paste on a small, inconspicuous area of the hair clip before applying it to the stained area.
- For stubborn paint stains, repeat the steps.
- Avoid using sharp objects or abrasives to scrub the stain, as it may scratch or damage your hair clip.
