What You Will Need

  • Dishwashing liquid
  • Soft cloth or sponge
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Baking soda
  • Water

Steps To Follow

  1. Mix together one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and one teaspoon of rubbing alcohol in a cup of warm water.
  2. Dip a soft cloth or sponge into mixture and rub it onto the stained area of the hair clip to loosen the dried paint.
  3. Once the paint is loose, rinse off the hair clip with clean water.
  4. To remove any remaining paint, mix one teaspoon of baking soda with two teaspoons of water to create a paste.
  5. Apply the paste to affected area and leave it for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove paste and rinse off the hair clip with clean water.

Tips

  • Always test the cleaning solution or paste on a small, inconspicuous area of the hair clip before applying it to the stained area.
  • For stubborn paint stains, repeat the steps.
  • Avoid using sharp objects or abrasives to scrub the stain, as it may scratch or damage your hair clip.
