1. Blot Excess Paint

Using a clean cloth or paper towel, blot excess paint off of the fleece fabric. Avoid rubbing too hard, as this could just push paint further into the fabric fibers.

2. Dab a Solution of Soap and Water onto the Stain

Mix together a solution of dish soap and warm water, and use it to dab stain carefully. Avoid rubbing too hard, as this can weaken fabric and cause damage.

3. Rinse Soap with Cold Water

Once the soap solution has been applied, rinse the fabric with cold water to ensure that all of the soap has been removed. Make sure to rinse thoroughly.

4.Mix Together a Solution of Vinegar and Water

Mix together a solution of one part white vinegar and two parts cold water. Test this solution in an inconspicuous area on the fabric, such as a corner or seam, to make sure that it won’t cause fading or other damage.

5. Apply Your Vinegar Solution to the Stain

Using a cloth or paper towel, apply the vinegar solution to the stained area. Gently dab the solution into the fabric to avoid rubbing. Let the solution sit for a few minutes, then rinse it out with cold water.

Tips for Removing Paint from Fleece

  • For tough stains, try a solution of 50% rubbing alcohol and 50% water, then rinse with cold water.
  • If the stain is still visible after these steps, repeat the process again.
  • Avoid using warm or hot water, as this can cause stain to set in the fabric.
