The first step is to remove any excess paint as soon as possible. You can do this by gently scraping the area with a spoon or knife. Be careful not to damage the fabric.
Next, you'll want to blot the stain with a clean cloth. Start from outside of the stain and work your way in, since this will help to prevent stain from spreading.
After that, pre-treat the stain by applying a small amount of dish soap directly to the stained area. Allow the soap to sit for about 10 minutes before proceeding.
Once the pre-treatment is complete, it's time to wash the fabric. Put the fabric in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with cold water. Add a gentle detergent designed for delicate fabrics.
Finally, let the fabric air dry. Once it is dry, check the stain to see if it is still there. If so, you may need to repeat process.
