  • Garment brush
  • White vinegar
  • Oxygen-based bleach
  • Cup of water
  • Sponge
  • Plastic bowl

How to Clean Paint Stains from Cotton Chambray:

  1. First, use a garment brush to lightly scrape away as much of the paint as possible.
  2. Mix together two tablespoons of white vinegar and one teaspoon of oxygen-based bleach in a plastic bowl.
  3. Fill a cup with warm water, and then pour it into bowl with the vinegar and bleach mixture.
  4. Soak a sponge in the solution, and then gently dab it on the paint stain.
  5. Continue dabbing until all of paint has been removed.
  6. Once the paint has been removed, rinse the stained area with cold water.
  7. Allow the fabric to air dry, and then enjoy restored beauty of your cotton chambray item.
