Things You'll Need

  • Lemon juice
  • Borax powder
  • Laundry detergent
  • Non-chlorine bleach
  • Hair dryer

Step by Step Guide

Step 1: Mix equal parts lemon juice and Borax powder in a small bowl. The mixture should form a paste.

Step 2: Using your finger, apply the paste to the paint stain and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Make sure not to rub the paste into the fabric.

Step 3: After 10 minutes, rinse the paste off with cool water. Make sure to rinse thoroughly until all of the paste is gone.

Step 4: If the stain is still visible, mix a solution of 1 teaspoon laundry detergent and 2 teaspoons non-chlorine bleach with 1 quart of warm water. Soak the camisole in the solution for about 30 minutes.

Step 5: Rinse the camisole with cool water and then let it air dry.

Step 6: If the stain is still visible, you can try using a hair dryer to heat the area for a few minutes. This will help further loosen stain. Once you are finished, rinse the camisole with cool water again and then air dry.

Tips and Warnings

  • It's important to use cool water when washing or rinsing the camisole, as hot water can cause stain to set.
  • Be sure to check the care tags on the camisole for any special instructions before attempting to remove a stain.
  • Do not rub the paste into the fabric as this can damage the fabric.
