When it comes to removing paint from calico fabric, always start by testing cleaning solution you want to use on a hidden section of fabric. Once you know the cleaner won't cause damage, proceed to treat stain carefully. Here are a few methods for cleaning paint from calico:

Using Water and Liquid Detergent

This is one of the simplest and most effective methods for removing paint from calico fabric. Start by lightly wetting the stained area with lukewarm water. Then add a few drops of liquid detergent to area, and let it sit for about 15 minutes. After that, gently rub the fabric together until the paint starts to fade away.

Using Vinegar

If the water and liquid detergent method doesn't seem to be working, try using vinegar instead. Start by soaking the stained area in white vinegar for about 10 minutes. Then, use a soft brush to scrub the fabric together. Rinse off the vinegar and repeat the process if necessary.

Using Acetone

If you're dealing with a particularly tough stain, then acetone may be your best bet. Start by applying a small amount of acetone to the stained area. Wait for a few minutes before blotting off the acetone with a damp cloth. Repeat as necessary until stain fades away completely.
