Using a dull kitchen knife or a metal spoon, scrape away as much of excess paint as possible. Don't worry if some of the paint gets pushed into the sole or fabric.
Once the excess paint has been removed, wet the sole of the shoe with a damp cloth. Apply a few drops of dish detergent directly onto any remaining stains and use a scrub brush to work it into sole of the shoe, rubbing gently in circular motions.
Rinse the detergent away using a garden hose, then place the shoes in the washing machine and wash them on a short, gentle cycle using cold water.
Air dry shoes on a flat surface in a well-ventilated area. When the shoes are completely dry, use a soft brush to remove any remaining paint.
With a few simple steps, you can easily remove paint stains from the bottom of your shoes. Just remember to be gentle when scrubbing and to air dry the shoes completely before wearing them again.
