First Step: Wipe Up Any Excess Paint

Using a paper towel or rag, gently wipe off any excess paint that may still be on the fabric. Be careful not to spread the stain further as you clean.

Second Step: Dab with Water & Detergent

Mix a few drops of detergent with water and apply it to the paint stain using a soft bristled brush. Work gently so that you don't damage the fabric.

Third Step: Rinse & Blot with a Dry Cloth

Rinse the detergent and water off the fabric with cold water. Once you've finished rinsing, use a dry paper towel or cloth to blot up any remaining moisture.

Fourth Step: Pretreat the Stain with a Stain Remover

Use an all-purpose pre-treatment spray designed for fabrics and spray it onto the paint stain. Allow it to sit for around fifteen minutes before washing.

Fifth Step: Wash Your Anorak in Cold Water

Wash your anorak in cold water. Make sure to select a gentle cycle to prevent any further damage to the fabric.

Sixth Step: Hang to Dry

Once the wash cycle is complete, hang your anorak in a warm, dry place to let it air dry. Don't put your anorak in the dryer, as this can set the paint stain into the fabric.

Seventh Step: Inspect & Repeat as Necessary

Once your anorak is dry, inspect it and repeat any of the above steps as necessary. If the stain still remains, you can use other spot treatments to help remove it.
