What You Need
- Detergent
- White cloths
- Water
- Stain remover (optional)
Instructions
- Check the clothing tag to make sure it’s safe to use water and detergent. If there is no indication that it is washable, take it to a dry cleaner or contact American Eagle directly to learn what is recommended.
- Dip a white cloth in water and then squeeze it out so it’s damp, not soaked.
- Rub a small amount of detergent into the affected area.
- Let the detergent sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Rinse the detergent off using a damp cloth.
- If stain still remains, treat it with a pre-wash stain remover before washing as normal.
