- Gather your materials. You will need a cleaner with grease-eliminating properties (such as dish soap), a soft cloth, glass wipes, and paper towels.
- Start by wiping down the window. To do this, take your glass wipes or a damp cloth and wipe away any loose dirt and dust from the stained area.
- Now it's time to make your cleaning solution. Mix a few drops of dish soap with 2 cups of warm water in a spray bottle. Shake the bottle to combine the ingredients.
- Spray your cleaning solution onto the stained area and leave for about 5 minutes.
- Using a circular motion, scrub the stained area with a soft cloth. Be sure not to put too much pressure as this could damage the glass.
- Once stain has been wiped away, switch to using a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining residue.
- To finish, use paper towels to completely dry area and make it shine.
By following these steps, you can easily clean oil pastel stains from windows. Just remember to be gentle and patient when scrubbing the stained area.
