How to Clean Oil Pastel Stains
- Mix 1/4 cup of salt with one liter of hot water.
- Dab the stains with a damp cloth soaked in saltwater solution.
- Apply a cleaning solvent formulated for oil-based stains.
- Gently scrub the stained area with a soft brush dipped in the solvent.
- Blot the stained area with paper towel to remove any excess liquid.
- Wash the top according to instructions on the care label.
Tips and Tricks
- Always blot (do not rub) the stained area with a dry cloth to absorb as much liquid as possible.
- Be sure to test all solvents on a hidden part of the fabric before using.
