Oil pastels are made of pigment and wax, which gives them a great texture for painting and drawing. Unfortunately, this also makes them a challenge to remove from fabric surfaces. But with some persistence and the right cleaning supplies, you can get your sneakers looking like new again.
What You'll Need
- Dish detergent
- Warm water
- Towel or cloth
Instructions
- Mix a few drops of dish detergent into the warm water.
- Clean stained area with the soapy mixture, taking care to rub gently but firmly. Use a cloth or towel to scrub the area.
- Rinse the affected area with warm water.
- If the stain remains, repeat steps one through three until the stain is gone.
Once the stain has been removed, allow the shoe to air-dry before wearing it again. Voila – your sneakers should look as good as new!
