What You'll Need:

  • Clean, white cloth
  • Dish soap
  • Warm water
  • Laundry detergent

Instructions:

  1. Carefully remove any excess oil pastel from the bathing suit. Use a clean, white cloth to gently pat the stain until all of the residue is gone.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 3 drops of dish soap with 1 cup of warm water. Dip the cloth in mixture and blot stain until it is completely saturated.
  3. After the stain has been saturated for about 10 minutes, rinse the area with cold water.
  4. To remove remaining stain, create a laundry detergent solution. Mix 1 tablespoon of laundry detergent with 1 cup of warm water. Use a fresh cloth to saturate the stain with this mixture and repeat blotting until the stain has completely disappeared.
  5. Allow the area to air dry and check for any remnants of the stain before putting swimsuit away.
